The key purpose of the application of an UPS is to ensure continuity of processes when the supply of power from the mains is disrupted. A UPS will continue to supply power to the process for a certain amount of time, while power from the mains are being restored.

Whilst the UPS is typically associated with IT applications, Legrand Singapore secured a project for Keor Mod UPS with a pharmaceutical giant in Singapore for a different type of application. The customer needed a reliable and secure alternative power source to ensure continuity of process and to protect sensitive equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The Keor Mod UPS won the customer over with its compact and modular design. It eases maintenance with it's hot-swappable power modules.

Another feature that the customer liked was the 10" touch screen display which is a simplified control panel packed with information, alerts and settings and is also equipped with interactive icons to make navigation and selection of the functions to be controlled.

The possibility of being able to rotate the Display inwards by 180° simplifies and speeds up the configuration and maintenance phases.
