Virtual Showroom Success Story
Giving the New Normal customer experience
The world has changed in 2020. Work from home is now the new trend in several countries in which resulted in steps taken by Legrand to catch up with the on-going changes. This includes a Virtual Showroom that BTicino Thailand held recently focusing on their switches series- Living Now.
Previously planned as a physical event, the team changed it to an online event where customers can still feel the experience from wherever they are. Bticino Showroom was the main concept of the online event held on several social media platforms including Facebook (Thai-subbed only), LinkedIn, YouTube and Yammer.
The event was attended by electrical designers, interior designers, house owners, project developers, distributors and others coming in for the experience. Most customers requested for product information and were willing to purchase the shown goods as soon as they are available. The viewers also gave a lot of good feedback despite this being one of the first online event held by BTicino Thailand.
A VOD was included where several designers, construction directors and business partners were interviewed on their thoughts of the product shown. The team not only delivered the products as a showcase but also the customer review to boost the marketing of the product. Every line of their product was thoroughly explained so that viewers can get the understanding like when attending the showroom in person.
When asked why the concept should be in a showroom, Maylada Suwannatat (Communications & Digital Manager of BTicino Thailand) explained: "BTicino Showroom is private place, nice and all the panel set up can be permanent display. Customer can visit and touch the same thing as they saw in the LIVE. It is a huge cost saving concept."
The event was wrapped successfully with a total of 1.3k viewers and the plan to bring this concept onto more online platforms.
